Stream Guardian Society

Most of us have fished in streams and rivers made better by the hard work and generosity of those who have come before us. Since 1959, Trout Unlimited members have been helping conserve, restore, and reconnect streams and rivers in their backyards and across the country. Many have extended that dedication into the future with a gift in their will or trust, or by beneficiary designation.

Stream Guardians are a diverse group of members who share a passion for cold, clean rivers and streams and the trout and salmon that live in them. Whether drawn by fishing, conservation, or often both, their legacy ensures the future health and integrity of our coldwater fishing habitats.
